TradeWinds Customs & Freight started with one goal in mind… to provide superior importing and exporting solutions for all our clients. This is achieved by having experienced knowledgeable staff that will provide a personal service & assistance throughout the total shipping/customs process. Our team have an average of 16 years industry experience, and along with their courteous support and services, your trade business will be in expert hands.

Our service...more like a “boutique” than a department store...gives you the opportunity to speak to us directly.
One thing you won’t hear when you call our office, "your call is very important to us" while waiting on hold for 10 minutes. Also you won’t be transferred from person to person while waiting to ask a simple question. We are committed to real service - not just the illusion of service.

Joining the industry in 1976 I worked my way up through the ranks, to senior management for several large brokerage/forwarders in Sydney and Brisbane. In 1999, I established TradeWinds with a view to focus on real service and bringing together a like-minded team of professionals, and, as they say - the rest is history. Sailing's my passion, and so the TradeWinds name & logo has a double entendre.

After a brief career in banking, I started with a large Australian-owned customs brokerage/forwarder in 1982, working in Sydney, Melbourne & Brisbane. I obtained my Customs Broker’s license 1991, and then in 1996 I moved to a multinational company, firstly as Operations Manager, and later became the Customs Manager. In 2002, I joined TradeWinds and have enjoyed the challenge of growing the business, and looking after our client’s needs. I don’t mind the occasional quiet ale and the sport of kings!

I first started in the industry in 1987, and have worked with 2 Multi-national forwarders & 2 Customs Brokerages, in all facets of the forwarding industry. I joined the TWCF team so we could offer our clients a personal & hands on approach with their forwarding requirements, without the bureaucratic problems associated with larger freight operators. I look forward to assisting with your enquiries. On weekends, you’ll find me wetting a line somewhere on the coast.

I am in my final year of the 4-year Customs Broker Course to attain Customs Brokers License. I joined TWCF in early 2005 following a keen interest in importing goods, for my car in particular! When I’m not at work, you’ll find me under the hood with a spanner in hand, or spiking up a storm on a beach volleyball court.

10 years working in France in Freight Forwarding and 2 years in Fine arts Removal. Later spent 5 Years working in Noumea in Freight Forwarding field joining TWCF in 2005 to assist in growing exports to the Pacific Islands and general forwarding operations. Looking after my son Max and my husband takes up most of my spare time.

I am mostly out and about doing inspections at depots, attending to Quarantine matters or delivering cargo to our clients.

I have just commenced the National Customs Broker Course with a view to attaining my brokers licence and furthering my career and I enjoy working within a customer focused team.
